Well, as promised I am blogging about my jogging journey. This week is the second week of my walker to runner plan. I had a busy week, a 50% midterm, meetings, a bonding event, but I met the neighbours cat so that was a highlight. I also finally found a grey overcoat for under $30 so winning!

Monday  Oct 10. Ah Canadian thanksgiving, well folks I did the un thinkable, I actually went to the gym to do week 2 of my running plan. It was actually really good, my lungs didn’t give out. It was a walk 1 run 3 for 28 minutes. I have to say the gym wasn’t busy and it was glorious. Sometimes when the gym is super busy it can be a nuisance because you may not get a treadmill with a water bottle holder or get one at all. But that didn’t happen on Monday because everyone was at home. Perks of staying at school for thanksgiving.

Wednesday Oct 12. Today was a busy day, class, meeting, class, and studying for my 50% midterm. Normally, I would let all this business stop me from running, but not this time. I’m working on being as committed as possible to improving my running skills. Anyway, this day the gym was so busy. On top of that I was having one of those days so the run went just as expected. I also didn’t get a treadmill with a water bottle holder so that was rough and my pants were super uncomfortable. But alas I finished the run and went on home to study.

Saturday Oct 15. Yes, I moved my run to Saturday.  I had a bonding event on Friday then needed to go to the grocery store which turned into winners, forever 21 and simple wandering. This run on Saturday was difficult, my lungs were more inflamed than usual (thanks allergies). I also need to replace my inhaler so that’s part of the issue. But anyhoo, I did it and it felt good to do finish! I also made homemade French fries so that made up for the lungs.

Until next time folks, enjoy midterm season or whatever else you are doing in your lives!
