Project Pan Roulette: Round 2

Hello all! I am excited to announce my next project pan roulette. This is a huge collaborative project with instagrammers, bloggers and youtubers! Check out Rebecca Morgan and Alexy who started this! The project consists of 6 categories that are randomly picked by you on random.org. This project technically started Nov 5th and I will end March 5th.

The categories I got were: a product you always buy on sale, something in your favourite shade, a drugstore product, an old favourite, a product you’ve already hit pan on, a collab item.

A product you always buy on sale

I usually buy mascara’s on sale, unless its an essence mascara, I tend to buy all my mascaras on sale. I bought the Maybelline lash sensational luscious full fan effect mascara on sale. I don’t mind this mascara at all. My only gripe it is difficult to get off but does give the lashes a beautiful effect.

Something in your favourite shade

This was hard because I love a lot of colours. My favourite makeup is bronze. I love bronze shades – bronzer, bronze eye shadow, bronzy blushes. I decided to pick The Body Shop cream eye colour stick in Cyprus Bronze. I do really like this shade a lot but when I bought this I was on the hunt for a dupe for the maybelline bad to the bronze but its not. This is a darker bronze and isn’t as creamy as the Maybelline. I want to try to use this up or at least put a dent in it.

A drugstore product

I found this category quite broad so I decided to pick a blush. I chose the Physicians Formula butter blush in vintage rouge. I really like the formula of this and the flush it gives to the skin. My goal for this product is to make a bit of a dent but it’s unrealistic for me to hit pan on it.

An old favourite

I chose Burt’s Bees Suede Splash. I really love this lipstick and have mentioned it so many times on this blog. I thought that I would use this for this project as it overlaps nicely with the products I chose for my 12 Pans of Christmas (stay tuned). 

A product you already hit pan

It took me awhile to think of something that wasn’t already in my year long project. But I remembered I hit pan on my ELF Golden Bronzer. I forgot how great this bronzer is. It’s a glowy bronzer and gives such a nice hint of colour and looks great on the eyes as well.

A collab product

I don’t own many collab products but I thought I would chose the colourpop super shock shadow in Cornelious which was a Kathleenlights collaboration. It is a beautiful matte warm caramel shade. This looks really nice as a base for any warm eye shadow look or any even cool eye shadow look. This is a great warm crease shade and makes a beautiful all over lid shade.
