Hello all! I know it’s been project pan update and finale central up in here. Have no fear, I have some reviews and other fun posts coming up later this month for you! The rest of the project pan roulette peeps posted their updates 2 days ago and I once again am late to the game. This was created by Rebecca Morgan and Alexy.
A drugstore product
Physicians Formula Butter Blush. I have been using this probably three days a week and I can notice some progress happening. I really like this blush. It is one of the smoothest drugstore blushes I have ever used. I like that it doesn’t look powder on the skin and gives you a beautiful, dare I say, buttery glow.
A product in your favourite shade
The Body Shop Eyeshadow stick in Cyprus bronze has minimal progress. I don’t use this very often purely because it isn’t easily blendable on the eye. I love most of the makeup the body shop makes but this product just doesn’t blend out easily which makes me less likely to reach for it.
A product you always buy on sale
The Maybelline lash sensational mascara. This mascara is alright. It doesn’t flake but it is a pain to take off at night even with an oil based makeup remover. I think after this project and (spoiler alert) after my drugstore mascara round up I will be throwing this out. Both because it will be finished and its close to expiry.
A product you’ve already hit pan on
The Elf Bronzer in Golden Bronze. The pan has slightly expanded but not by much. I’d say that I can expand this to hit other shades in the next two months. I like this bronzer because for my fair skin, it’s not very pigmented so I can layer it over my other bronzer without look over bronzed.
A collab product
I chose the Kathleenlights super shock shadow in cornelius for this one. I have made decent progress on this. I use this maybe once or twice a week in conjunction with other palettes. This is a super simple shade that you can use for a one eyeshadow look or as a base.
An Old Favourite
The Burt’s Bees lipstick in Suede Splash. I love this lipstick still. The progress is slow and steady. I think I can come close to finishing this at the end of the project, I just have to really focus on it!

How fun! Does the Physician’s Formula Blush blend easily? It has such a lovely tone to it, and I do love their Butter Bronzer. But, I’ve heard mixed reviews on this one.

I find that it blends out beautifully! Very similar to the butter bronzer formula 🙂

I have the PF blush and it’s so beautiful. Haven’t used a lot of it because concentrating on the older ones.

Yes! It’s so good! I relate to that, I definitely have a few older ones in my rotation, it’s hard to chose just one or two blushes to use! LOL
