The Urban Decay Naked 3 is undoubtedly the least popular of the naked palettes. I understand the controversy: this palette doesn’t work on darker skin tones and creates the same look every time. For me and my skin tone, this is a great palette for every day. Sure, I usually only use one to two shades on the daily, but I love all the shades in the palette. I wanted to create 3 looks for you all that while they aren’t extremely different, they use some different shades in the palette to create a darker look to a lighter “daytime” look.
Look 1
For the first look I wanted to do something that I would regularly do as well. This is a lighter wash with a hint of depth on the outer corner. I started with the classic limit in the crease. Then did a slight wash of mugshot over the whole lid. I then put dust in the inner corner. I also mixed Burnout and dust for the lower lash line.
Look 2
For the second look I wanted to do something that I would typically where on the daily. I went for a light wash of Limit in the crease. Then put trick all over the lid. I then went in with Liar on the outer corners.
Look 3
For the third look I wanted to do more of a cool toned taupe vibe so I went in with a few of the shades from the darker end of the palette. I started with the classic limit in the crease. I think mixed liar and mugshot together for the outer corner. I wanted a bit of pizazz in the inner corner so I used strange and dust.
