I have always been a fan of earth-toned makeup, while this could have been a green look or a blue look I don’t tend to buy lots of colours so I decided in honour of earth day I wanted to create earth-toned look. I want to acknowledge that the beauty industry is a wasteful industry, packaging, advertising, etc. I constantly buy products in packaging and find myself buying before completely using something up. In any case, I didn’t buy any new products for this makeup look, I used what I had and what is more fitting for an earth-toned look than the Milani earthy elements palette.
The eyes

First I started with the light brown transition shade in the crease focusing it on the outer corner of my eye. I then built that shade up slightly more. After that I added the orange shade on the outer corner, really blending it into the skin. I then took the fun gold shade and padded it all over the lid. I really like this palette because it is so easy to us and while you can only get a few different looks out of it, it never fails me.
Base Products

I used the Maybelline dream fresh BB cream in a light layer over the Annabelle hydrating illuminating veil. I then used the L’Oreal true match multi-use concealer I then used my project pan bronzer in the Rimmel contour kit. It’s a nice warm-toned glowy bronzer. I also wanted to use one of the most neutral blushes in my collection and that is the Milani brush in romantic rose. I forgot to photograph the highlighter I used but it was the physician’s formula butter highlighter in the shade pearl.
The lip

The whole inspiration for this look was the Maybelline made for all lipstick in spice for me. This is a warm toned terracotta lipstick that I think works for any season.
