Yay! I’m so proud. Only a few days late to the game for this blog post. I have curated a new makeup stash for the month of February. Definitely there is a pink theme happening here and I am pretty pumped to use a lot of these products.
First: the repeat offenders. My Glossier concealer, skin tint, and Kiehl’s primer as well as some lipsticks and mascaras. Also the L’Oreal powder and the Hourglass Ambient lighting powder.
Base products
I bought the NYX Born to Glow Foundation quite a while ago and decided to finally throw it in my stash for the month. I also chose two products I know I like, the L’Oreal Radiant Serum Foundation, and the Cle CCC Cream. For concealers I chose the ELF Hydrating concealer and the Rare Beauty concealer.
Cheeks
I went a bit wild with this section. I chose the Kosas Bronzer and the Fenty Bronzer in In Da Sun, as well as the uoma beauty contour stick as a cream option. I also chose the Revlon SkinLights Highlighter, and the Bobbi Brown pink glow highlighter. I also kept in the Jlo Complexion booster and put in the Rare Beauty Liquid Luminizer. As my face palette, I put in the Natasha Denona Diamond lights palette. For a cream blush I put the quo beauty featherweight blush in pure and the Laura Mercier blush in Chai. I also added in the Ilia liquid highlighter to compare to the Jlo beauty one.
Eyes
I chose four palettes for this. I chose the Roen beauty 75 degree quad, and kept in the Revlon So Fierce Quad. For bigger palettes I wanted to use the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk palette, my personalized makeup geek palette and my ABH Soft Glam (spoiler still a fave). I also have four mascaras (why I do not know) and two single shadows. I chose the Maybelline colour strike and the Revlon single eyeshadow in the shade creme brulee.
Lipsticks
For the added lipsticks I added my two Wet n Wild lipsticks, one in bare it all and one in mad for mauve. The other lipstick is Mystic from Nudestix. As much as Nudestix is not my favourite brand, I do really enjoy this cream formula. I had another one in sin but I think I decluttered it and that was my perfect Rose shade.
