Products I bought in March

I have said it once and I’ll say it again: shopping to someone in social services might be the best coping mechanism? In any case, I actually did not do too badly in terms of my shopping for makeup over the month of March (clothing on the other hand, don’t at me on that one). I bought 5 makeup items in March. 

Two products that I bought were Becca’s iconic products. They are closing in Sept 2021 and I thought what a better time to buy their products. I bought the Champagne Pop highlighter, which continues to be such a nice golden highlighter that is not too golden (looking at you NARS and Amrezy highlighter). I also bought the bronzer in Bali Sands. I’ve been eyeing this one for a while, and seeing as I love a shimmery bronzer, I bought this one. 

For the purpose of my auric beauty blog post, I bought the Quo Golden Glow Primer. This is such a good dupe for the auric beauty shade in morganite, in terms of wanting a glowy primer. This is also a Canadian exclusive brand. I also was sucked in by the new cream blushes by Burt’s Bees so I bought the shade Berry Whip. This is a beautiful blush, but it is rather sheer so for deep skin tones this will not work. The next product I bought was the Pacifica liquid cover concealer in the shade 20NF. This is actually a really nice concealer formula, without being too sheer and has a perfect amount of coverage for what I like. They have an abysmal shade range. I was on the hunt for an affordable concealer, but it turns out that ELF is probably your best bet for a good concealer at an affordable price.
