The Sephora Collection Skin tint. Where do I begin? This was something I bought because a: it was on sale and b: I love anything that says tint in it so naturally, I purchased it. This is the fifth installation of foundation week and let me tell you, this one is going in the declutter bin.

The claims: A Skin Tint that smooths skin and improves its overall appearance, creating a fresh and healthy-looking glow. This lightweight formula blended with lemon extract helps improve complexion’s luminosity and with rice peptides to let the skin breathe. Vitamin E and Shea extract are known for their powerful antioxidant properties. The formula offers long-lasting moisture.

I really wanted to love this product. But. It’s just not there for me. I found it to be a bit cakey, and not easy to spread with your fingers. The claims of the lightweight formula don’t really ring true to me for this product. Sure, there is some long lasting moisture but the skin tint itself doesn’t look good on the skin all day.

The application: When I tried spreading this on my face with my fingers it was super streaky which is how I like to use something marketed as a skin tint or tinted moisturizer. I found with a sponge this did look nice but it just didn’t do anything significant for my skin.

Left to right: Sephora Collection matte foundation. The ordinary serum foundation, Sephora Collection Skin tint, IT Cosmetics CC Cream, Kosas Tinted Face oil, The Body Shop Fresh Nude not pictured: benefit hello happy because I forgot to swatch it.

Overall rating: 3/5 stars. I think that this product could have been good but it just doesn’t do that. While it is supposed to be a tint, I just find that it doesn’t give me the tint look I have found in other products.
